How To Create An eBook

by Kris Mainieri

There are many reasons why a person would want to write an e-book. One is to help spread his knowledge and teach others about a certain topic. Another is to promote a business, organization or idea. And also, it can be for marketing purposes to help sell a certain product or service. Whatever the reason may be, it is essential to understand the basics on how to create an e-book. Because you must understand that it is not simply about putting sentences together, slapping it all in one file, and publishing it as an e-book. There is more to it than that.

Hi, Chris

I just watched the video that you made for us, about what you use to make your ebooks and was wondering if you could put the url of the cover site that you mention, has i have tried typing it into my browser and also done a google search for it and cannot get it to come up.

I really enjoyed the short video and want to say a big thanks.

Thank you for this great information. I really appreciate it. My only question is: If a person doesn’t have photo shop and he doesn’t want to hire someone to do this for him: Would the free software from Gimp.com work with it? Do you know if it will or not? Thanks!

Great vid.

If you don’t want to purchase the plug-in, you can check out 3D covers extreme. I just got it and love it! And for under $50, it’s great. Point and click. Super easy, very clean, and most importantly fast.

Cheers.

Hi Kris,
Thank you for the simple and straight forward creation method. Open office is a great tool.
Jerry mentioned gimp, which is a good free tool, but it has a learning curve. I found a simple, free, clean and easy e-cover creator at: http://3d-pack.com/

It has a watermark on the side but I see no reason why you cannot crop it off. It is totally free.

Thanks,
Bruce

http://www.coveractionpro.com/

A little goof….but still an excellent video. Now I am eager for more to watch and learn. Thanks Kris.
