Hi Kris,
Just thought I would give you an update:
Twitter does not allow accounts with Animated images.
If you have an old account with an animated Gif it will be grandfathered, but if you change that picture you will not be allowed to use an animated gif.
Still pretty cool Never thought of using Camtasia to create an animated banner ad.
An Easy step would be use windows movie maker to make the scenes then use Camtasia to animate as a Gif.
Brilliant Idea!

Twitter doesnt except any animated gifs, I have tryed many a times with different sizes and reduced qualities, if you have any help for me more than the video above please email me,
